Freedom of Speech? and Hillary Clinton
Hello whomever! Greetings from Smithville. 63 degrees at 5:01 PM E.S.T.
Couple of things popped up today... politics creep into the workplace and sometimes you have to take a stand. I heard a fellow co-worker speak about people throwing out the Dixie Chicks CD, because of "whatever" soapbox they are on. He wasn't talking to me... but I started to zip it.. and had to butt in... he continues about how because people don't like what the Dixie Chicks said and how it's shame and about freedom of speech..... so I preceeded to say... its freedom of speech to throw away some crappy Dixie Chicks CD and that is free speech! Stomp on it... who cares...
I say: if you say something political..... better get ready for the rebuttal.

The New James Bond 007??????
Howdy folks! Good Saturday morning! You gotta love Saturday mornings... I do.
Anywho, the wife and I went to go see Casino Royale (with cheese).... Pulp Fiction... get it? maybe not. Anyway, last night was opening night... very exciting. So, we bought some tickets... $8.25.. unreal. So, we killed some time before the show. Target! Here we come. We had been eyeing a rug for a while over there.. and on a impulse buy, we bought it. Now, we had to go see the show... and this is what this blog is about... 007 .. not the rug. So, my thoughts about the new James Bond...he's not Sean Connery by golly. Exciting movie..yes. I just have mixed emotions about the character. I mean Sean was smooth as silk y'all. This dude... a little rough and a little violent.. I prefer the judo chop and a flip of henchmen besides shooting, stabbing, blowing up... etc. So, I give Casino Royale (with cheese) and sideways thumbs....
Go see it. It will be worth it. kinda.

A little sad : (
Well, election day has come and gone. Our democratic policy has carved out, what the majority of Americans want..... a change. Well, a change we will get. I think that the Iraq war was devestating. This is the world we live in now and future is before us. We have to quit all the bickering and fighting with each other and work together for a better tomorrow....... HA! Democrats don't like Republicans and vice versa.... there is too much difference. The balance of power in this country has switched a little and some hang in the balance. I will be curious how Congress will work together and do what is right for the country. At least Bob Corker won............
