Happy Thanksgiving!

I love this week...... food, family, fun.....and lots of sports. Not much going on. Trying to sell the house (not the perfect time) and get ready to eat lots of food. This will be a time to reflect on what we are thankful for. I will give you my list.

1) Baby Audrey (who turns 11 months on 11/29) and Judi (being married to a wonderful woman)
2) Two Rivers Church (continue to help me grow spirtually)
3) Family (be careful wherever you all travel - drive or fly safe)
4) Having a job (enough said)
5) Glad UT and Duke basketball off to a good start. UT is 3-0 and Duke is 5-0

Keep it real - even when it goes wrong

We'll see.......

I am not sure what to say today. It is a bitter defeat. McCain was not my first choice. It's sad to see what Republicans have become and need to move to what we stand for. We'll see what Obama does, he's got a steep hill to climb. We'll see about the economy, Iraq and gas prices. It has to get better before it gets any worse. I am glad it's over. I am glad that the eastern part of Tennessee remains Republican territory. The change people wanted, they are gonna get. We don't know what kind of change is ahead.

Today is not in the hands of the candidates

Little reminder - we all can get caught up in the he said she said riff raff of politics. Frankly, I am tired of it (a little). This is in the hands of the voters and whomever gets the most votes. I am now praying for the nation itself. Not for a candidate, not for a party. This country was founded on Christian principles. Some people are afraid we are drifting away from that. I do. I look around and see how much things have changed. There is a price for freedom. It is now in the hands of God and whomever gets elected, needs all the help they can get. Vote today!!!
